"The Oblongs" Angus Oblong's Personal Set of Original Story Boards!

Regular price $110.00 $0.00
8 1/2 x 14 inches. Three separate acts. Total of 273 pages.
I'll sign all 3 acts before I mail them to you.
During production on my animated series, "The Oblongs" we would regularly have Story Board Meetings, where about 8 of us sit around a big table, each with our own copy of story boards, and we would go over them together, one page at a time and give notes.
Present were: Me the show's creator Angus Oblong; the asshole Showrunner; the episode's Director & the Assistant Director; some Producers; and Storyboard Consultant Mike B. Anderson, a Director on The Simpsons. (After the first few meetings, Mike and I were separated because we would draw funny pictures and giggle.)
This set of 3 acts were my personal set. The episode is one of my favorites, Episode #2,'Disfigured Debbie' where Debbie gets caught in a wheat thresher, turns ugly, fakes her death and has to hang out with the unpopular kids.
Inside are my notes in red ink, along with some silly sketches. And deleted scenes, one of which I've given you a taste of here in the pictures. On the backs are some of my original pencil sketches. (One of which, I was attempting to pitch a dream sequence where Bob Oblong has 2 heads. That would have been in the next season, had it been green-lit.)
These are photocopies. Like I said, everyone had a set of storyboards. But they are riddled with my personal touches and probably some of my bodily secretions and spilled coffee.
I kind of hate to let go of these, but I'm purging. Everything must go!

Angus Oblong.
